- Okapiland Explorer
- Okapiland Explorer is a personal HTTP server between sites and your browser working in your PC
to display linked pages instead of hyperlinks with the contextual information
so that number of clicking the hyperlinks and waiting the page displayed would be less to reach your expected pages.
- A personal used product. Access from the outside of your PC is strictly disabled.
- HTTP port is set at 80 as a default. It can be changed to another number if preferred.
- Okapiland Explorer uses the the following APIs to perform the searches.

- IE Okapiland Search Toolbar (IE Okapibar)
- IE Okapibar is a toolbar attached in IE to display linked pages in Composite Page Mode instead of hyperlinks

- IE Okapibar uses the the following APIs to perform the searches.

Restriction
- Linked pages are not guaranteed to be the same as the original pages.
The direct access to the original page is available through the hyperlink above the frame of linked pages.
- Static type of content in linked pages is available for display, but not others, e.g. Javascript or Flash.
Displaying the linked pages depends upon the page content.
If the contents contain less static code, the page displayed would be far from the original page.
- Linked pages could not be displayed even if they are available at the direct access.
- Navigation inside linked pages is partally not available. Submit buttons in the linked pages are disabled.
- HTML type of content in linked pages is available for display, but not others, e.g. PDF or Word file.
- The content length is limited less than 50 kbytes. The part more than the size is not displayed.
- The timeout is shorter than the direct access.
- Displaying the linked pages depends upon the response of linked pages.
The display will be delayed if the site is not available or if the response is extremely slow.
