Ecuador is a country located on the equator in western South America. It is bordered by Colombiaon the north, by Peru on the east and south, and by the Pacific Ocean to the west. Ecuador includes Galapagos Islands on the Pacific Ocean. There are Andes in the center, and is one of the headwater of Amazon in the east. Ecuador is one of Biodiversity hotspots in the world.
