I am an amateur Japanese potter who lives in Kyoto, where is known as one of famous historical cities. The tradition influences my works, and the interest in the shape and the color of animals influences my works as well. Henri Rousseau, Atsuhiko Misawa, Lisa Larson, Goro Suzuki are my favorite artists. My goal is to produce ceramic objects, which can be useful in daily life as much as possible. Sachiko Obayashi |
